Be careful if the relationship begins to get sexual. In some states it is illegal for a 19 year-old to have a sexual relationship with a minor, even if the minor is of the age of consent (usually 16).
There's usually a two year rule; When the 18 year old turns 19, it'll be illegal, but when the 16 year-old turns 17, it will be legal again.
Crazy bureaucratric nonsense!
Be well and good luck!Is okay for a 16 year to date a 18 year old who's about to turn 19? I need your advice quick!?
yesIs okay for a 16 year to date a 18 year old who's about to turn 19? I need your advice quick!?
But this is the most Ok thing
yes as long as theres no sex involved
Absolutely ok
It depends. I was so young and innocent at 16, an 18 year old would have been so intimidating. I think kids want to grow up and be older, that doesn't always mean its the best thinng for them. I really would try to stop it.
YEAAAH!!!why shouldn't it be ok?!!!?do u like him/her??go for it!!

Any advice on my next step after I had my date?
I went on kind of a casual friendly date with this one girl from a dating website who is looking for a relationship and we met the first time. However, she is the type of girl that wants to take things slow but I treated her to a coffee because it wasnt too expensive and because I wont lose too much money and worse comes to worse if it doesnt go well, spending a few bucks wont hurt and wont make me a cheapskate. I was dressed nice. I had good personality and she doesnt seem judgemental. However the thing I am worried about it is I am worried she may lose interest and find someone else!!!!! Someone else who has a higher degree or that is more her type.
So my question is what should be my next step? I really like her alot and I really want to have some kind of connection with still dating and cuddling and getting her back to my place to make out and watching some movies. Do you think next time we meet, would that be a good idea to do and should I trust her if we met and had a long conversation at Starbucks at first? Do you think she may want to spend the night if she lives about 45 minutes away from me and doesnt want to drive back? How much space should I give her? How do I know she is interested?Any advice on my next step after I had my date?
if you have her phone number and you are interested in her you should phone.. her and thank her for the date.. that's polite.. ask her casually if she would like to go out again.. that way you find out.. if she says yes, let her choose a day that suits her.. ask her where she would like to go .. if she says she has no time or she has to think about it.. then let her be.. if she is interested and says.. ok but I have to check when I got time.. then let her contact you .. or if she has text message.. not everybody has... a cell phone with text message.. try to phone her or send her an email... and thank her for the date... and ask her if she would like to go out again.. and if yes, what day would suit her...then she has a choice to pick a date... or ask her for a suggestion if she says.. she is interested to meet again.. maybe she knows of a place and it's a good thing if you decide together where you want to go if you go out together.. and both of you have equal say in it.. You should contact her first.. and thank her for the time.. you had talking.. and just ask casually if she would like to repeat going out with you.. then you know. I appreciate it that she takes time to get to know someone better.. because one can't judge by a first date.. it's always best to develop a friendship first.. and then take it to a higher level if a ''connection '' is there.Any advice on my next step after I had my date?
No, for the second date i dont think that she would like you pressuring her to come to your place. it might seem like you just want sex. you could go to the movie THEATER and go to starbucks afterwards or something.
Call her and ask if she wants another meeting and you'll get your answer!
No, 2nd encounter - Starbucks; cheap, cheap. Go to a restaurant.
Don't think she'll want to spend the night. Don't choke her space.
If she doesn't return your telephone call, you got the hint!
NOT INTERESTED!
Call and talk with her on the phone. Ask her out again. Plan an activity-- a movie, a museum, a concert. Spend time together. If she agrees to spend time with you, then she's interested. Don't even think about her staying over.
Good grief - pricing the meal based on the outcome you intend to achieve? You hardly know this person. Cuddling?? Spending the night?? Why not call and talk a while. Say you enjoyed the conversation. Talk about something you discussed and then ask her out again, maybe a meal at some place you can afford. For anything more intimate, use another type of website.
You seem very insecure. Find someone with a higher degree? How did that come up? Someone more her type? If you aren't her type, why expect cudding and spending the night?
You are really jumping the gun.

starbucks is a good idea.get to know her first.her likes dislikes food choices.asking her to spend the night might give her the wrong idea.unless she suggests it,then go for it.if she is flirting during coffee she is interestedAny advice on my next step after I had my date?
You could call her after a week of the first date and ask her to go to the movies... if she's interested she'll say yes. After that give her some space. You could text her every now and then. Like every few days or so. If she's interested then you'll know because she'll be calling you.
your pathetic, this person doesn't like you get over it.
hope this helps.
I think if you want her to spend the night you might want to take her somewhere nicer than Starbucks.

Which is better? To ask for dating advice from y'all or to rely on instinct?
i think its best to apply them evenly. stick to your intuition, but dont be closed minded to everyones answers. if you apply both aspects, you get the best of both worlds!Which is better? To ask for dating advice from y'all or to rely on instinct?
isnt it better to balme others or yourself for your mitake
its better to go and listen to your instincts but if you think about it no matter what your still listining

A little of both. Having a little outside view on things can't hurt, but remember not to rely completely on what others tell you, they can never know your situations completely. :)
a little bit of both i recon..with advise you get to know what your infor sometimes but then its also good to go with your instinct too that way you learn first hand and thay way you also learn from your mistakes too...eye lips

Who's the guy who guves dating advice (mainly to men)? He's like a svengali to some guys. He used to have his
own dating issues and now he counsels others for lots of $$$ and is s'posed to be really cool.Who's the guy who guves dating advice (mainly to men)? He's like a svengali to some guys. He used to have his
There are a number of guys that this describes. Two that spring to mind are ';Mystery'; and David DeAngelo.

So im gonna go on a date with this guy and i am shy about kissing....any advice?
It's like going to a friend's house. When you get there it's a little hard to get in the mood/the setting, but at the end you end up wild and crazy and all relaxed and collected. When you're on the date, just chill with him, it's not like your kissing him right away. When you guys become real realxed (usually by the end of the date), you'll be more less shy about kissing himSo im gonna go on a date with this guy and i am shy about kissing....any advice?
You don't have to kiss if you don't want to.. if you're not up to it, don't pressure yourself. Just have fun!So im gonna go on a date with this guy and i am shy about kissing....any advice?
its really easy i get nervous sometimes too but he'll do all the work just sit back and go with the flow if he leans in for the kiss go with it! trust me easy as pie unless he tries shoving his tounge down ur throat but hey it happens
Kissing is incredible, wonderful, delicious, tasty, thrilling, delightful and heart stopping, ilovehimlots. And women like it, too. Try it... you'll like it.
If you wanna kiss him just do it, hes not gonna not like it hes a guy and normally guys are more shy about it than girls.
Well, everyone is when its with someone new for the first time. So just let it happen, see what feels good and just keep up with that. Oh yea, and if youre scared to do the first move just wait for him to do it.
which guy is this? if you dont want to kiss him, then avoid it. you dont have to kiss on the first date.
Hie Love. Well to me it is good that you are going on a date and wanted to get to know him much and love him but when you are in love and if you are shy to kiss him then it really depends on what kind of kiss you are going to give him is it a peck kiss or a french kiss. When you are thinking of giving him a frech kiss then it could be hard for you to start instead of a peck kiss on his cheek. because ussually a guy will start first then only with the approval of a girl to kiss and from there they will feel fine about it. But try to hold his shirt and start to grab his neck and from there try to give him a small peck on his lips, then from sure he will go and make his mouth wider for a french kiss. Try this and hope it might help you................
ALL THE BEST.........................
if u dont fell comfertable kissin ghim
you dont have 2
kno one can force u to do something u dont want to
but if u do..just
swalow ur fears up...

dont worry about it, the guy is probably pretty shy also, but once you have that first kiss, every thing else will come smoothly
How about having a drink each other.
