alright, im a soldier, about to return home, and am trying to get more into the relationship world, i've never done too well with girls, i used to be overweight, etc. you get the idea, not to mention im a non-mormon living in utah. but since joining the service i have gotten in shape, but still am afraid of denial, any advice? and please, no ';just be yourself'; answersDating Advice Needed for A Soldier?

Really be yourself. Be confident, but don't try too hard. Go to local hangouts and look for someone that catches your eye. Don't go for the slutty girls, go for the ones that have real harmony. You'll see them.
Really though, be yourself. Girls love soldiers.
Stay confident and flirt to get the hang of it. Compliments are always good places to start. Find someone that you are interested in and go out to meet people and work your way from there.
Also when you go out into an evironment, just observe things from other people and turn them into your own. I think you'll be fine. And many girls find soldiers attractive. lol ~just saying!

What branch are/were you in? Obviously it didn't do much for your self confidence.
yeah i know what you mean with the denial. although i dont like to pursue because of the akwardness after the result. but thats it college and classes, so like idk man. i dont know where you really meet girls when you are at your barracks and your station, but im sure they are around they like military dudes. you know.
