ADVICE i'm a senior in hs, and not allowed to date but me and this guy really liked eachother and i screwed up

so theres this guy i really like...and we kinda ended up likeing each other a lot...but w/out directly letting eachother know? and he asked me if i liked him and i just kinda let something i shouldn't have fall out of my mouth. b/c see...im not allowed to date. i'm a senior in high school, but my parents dont allow me to date. so when he asked me that everything in my mind just kinda jumbled and i said no. and after i said that...i just got the worst feeling. does that kinda make since though? anyways, now things totally arent the same. we'll say hi to each other in passing, but...he wont even look at me when he walks by sometimes. and i know he knows i'm there. i just dont know what to do. anyone have any advice? anyone who's been there before? thanksADVICE i'm a senior in hs, and not allowed to date but me and this guy really liked eachother and i screwed up

just tell him the truth: that your parents dont let you date, and that the only reason you said those things was to not hurt his feelings but that other words just came out because you really do like him, but you dont want to disobey your parents.


%26amp;%26amp; duh if hes flirting with girls right in front of you it means he really does like you and hes just trying to show you that ';he can find someone else';, even though he obviously likes you.


%26amp; if things dont work out, well im sorry but there are many people put there and your life has just barley begun.

Just tell him the truth, that you like him but aren't allowed to date, so that's why you said no even though you didn't mean it.





Then, go to your parents and invite them to the twenty first century
go up to him and say ';hey, um sorry, i didn't mean what i said i really do like you, but i said no, because well this is embarrassing but i'm not allowed to date.'; If he doesn't believe say you swear you like him and your not lieing. If he laughs becuz u can't date he is not the guy for you and just move on. If he likes you back maybe you could hang out some this summer. Ask your parents if u can date since your pretty much almost in college. You should be able to have freedom and date. Maybe soon your be able to date. Whoa, why aren't you allowed to date at your age?? If you're not already 18, won't you be very soon? Your parents should ease up a bit I'd say. When are you ';allowed'; to date then?? I'd totally be breaking that rule, or at least talking to my parents about changing it. They can't control you after you reach the age of 18. Yes you live under their roof, but if they hold onto you too tight you'll just end up rebelling and moving out anyway.





Why don't you just talk to the guy and explain this to him. Tell him you have no experience with dating and got nervous but that you do like him. Seems pretty easy to me. If he likes you back he'll think it's cute that you got all jumbled in front of him.
