hey :) !

never forget that you shouldn't need a boy, or any person for that matter, to make you feel better about yourself .. in all honesty, no one can love someone fully unless they can love who they are, first. it's really important to know yourself really well, before starting something serious... but if you think you're ready, then what i would say to do, is think and ask yourself what you're really looking for out of somebody, and out of a new relationship. it's important to know your own boundaries before getting involved with another person. if you really think that this is what you want, i would say you should start going out with your friends, and getting to know as many people as possible.. it's awesome to meet new friends, and this way, as well as looking for somebody you might want to get to know better, you'd be acquainted with even more people. :) just relax, and most importantly ..be yourself. if you want to get to know somebody romantically they need to know who you are, and you need to be able to show them, without being uncomfortable. don't rush into anything .. what will happen, will happen. there is no need to feel pressured into having a boyfriend yet, things will turn out how they are supposed to, and if now isn't the time, then so be it. you are a beautiful, smart individual, and you don't need anybody to complete you. try getting to know yourself a bit better first, and see how things go :)

Put yourself out there to meet people.

Not sure how old you are but if you are in high school go to the games, parties etc. If you are old enough to to work that is always a good place to meet people.

If you are out of high school I'd stay stick with work, college classes, church, other social gatherings.
I think a lot of it is attitude, dating should be fun, so you have to think of even looking for someone to date as fun. Be yourself and enjoy it... even bad dates become good stories ;)
just flirt with guys find one you like and see if he likes you
